Dear mom or dad (or parent-to-be),
A bunch of us on Team Lela are parents of young kids. We found that we had a shared frustration: shopping for baby products. You do a search for “strollers” and instantly, you’re up to your eyeballs in strollers! With a new baby, you don’t even have time to sleep – let alone spend hours browsing through a gazillion options, wondering which stroller is the right one.
So we decided to do something about it.
Understanding what matters to you
Every parent shopping for a baby product has a unique perspective on what matters most. But once we go online, we face a barrage of advertising, millions of search results, conflicting product reviews ... it’s easy to drown in the flood of information.
Our solution is to make a shopping assistant that can cut through the clutter and truly understand what matters to you. If you’re shopping for a stroller, for example, it matters whether you live in a city, or have twins, or if you’re a frequent traveler. Lela can understand and remember these details – so the next time you come back, you don’t have to enter them again.

But even once you’ve decided that you want a city stroller or a travel-friendly one, you’re often left with still too many options. How do you find the exact one that’s right for you? That’s when the Lela Compatibility Engine flies in to save the day.
On an emotional level, each person is totally unique. Each of us finds satisfaction and contentment from different things. Our Compatibility Quiz is designed to understand what makes YOU happy. Your answers to this test are fed into the Lela Compatibility Engine which then finds the products that match you best.
Which means that, out of those gazillion strollers, we can find the one that will best fit you – and only you. And there are no advertising dollars or corporate subsidies behind us: just our honest recommendations on stuff you’ll love.

The fun is just beginning.
We’re just getting warmed up! We’re starting small, but we’ll be adding more baby products each week. And soon, we’ll add other stuff that parents need, like cameras and electronics. If there’s anything specific you’d like to see on Lela, let us know.
